Mobile Bash 9/1/03

Not a good day for some ... Three major magic-users bit the dust but one was avenged as the killer himself was killed! The bash succeeded after the last mobile was summoned and slaughtered.

The bash started well with 6 players on and Puddy as the bash-general. As the 100 mobiles left mark was reached the game crashed! On resetting Hawumph allowed the bash to restart with some different players on, 7 in number, and no general as the vote was tied.

A small team of three or four wiped out the rats in short order, giving a kill rate of:

*Hawumph the onomatopoeic wizard shouts "Gilgamesh 31 kills, Davidbrent 19, 1080 21, Fallout & Puddy 6, Dblhelix 3".

Pippin had still yet to kill something!

The total soon fell down to 75 and then 50 mobiles left.

With the evil twins and some of the keep left, along with sealife and the death of a magic-user, it looked a bit harder.

Soon we saw:

*For your information: there are 10 mobiles still alive.

... and then 9 in 35 mins, by which time Davibrent had been made de-facto bash-general! The curse of the bash-general falls again ...

Your stamina is 33. *You hit the crocodile (5-9). The crocodile looks seriously injured. The crocodile hits you (12/100). *You haven't the strength to wield the epee anymore... You hit the crocodile (5-9). The crocodile looks seriously injured. The crocodile hits you (11/100). *w You can't just leave in the middle of a fight! You have to flee! *You hit the crocodile (5-9). The crocodile looks critically injured. The crocodile hits you. You feel your life leaving... The crocodile has killed you.

Whoops! One dead bash general. The last mobile was holed up in a tomb and no one seemed to know how to open the tomb. Repeated summons were tried but failed. Then someone attacked Vulnax the warlock with a longsword, and when the other players tried to help some unfortunate person managed kill all instead of kill invis or similar. So, with multiple attacks Vulnax succumbed and shuffled off her mortal coil. As the last mobile was awaited, Corwin polished off Fallout, the invisible killer of Vulnax.

Then the message flashed up:

*You feel as if a tremendous evil has been rid from The Land! No pawns of darkness sully it with their presence. The relief of generations of souls floods through your being!(+3,000 = 3,287).

Another bash successfully completed, although not without personal cost.
